Pastor James Reid
Pastor James Reid is the Senior Pastor of Launch Deep Ministries (LDM), and is responsible for the leadership of the church. He sets the tone, inspiring the worshippers through weekly preaching and teaching, based on scriptures and not tradition, opinion, public consensus or political pressure. Pastor Reid touches the community through regular outreach and services.
As the shepherd of the flock, Pastor Reid provides spiritual and emotional support to the congregation, and direction for the men and women who are on the church staff. Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching the principles of the Word of God, this Senior Pastor actively walks the Christian walk, living a life above reproach with the help of God, and leading of the Holy Spirit. As Senior Pastor, he is accessible to the congregation, known by the church and available for questions and comments. He avails himself to ongoing daily and weekly church activities including communion, baptisms, dedication of babies, visitation of the sick, weddings and funerals, as well as advising, heading and consulting with all board members, department heads and chairpersons.
Pastor James Reid is an ordained Elder in the International Fellowship of Pastors and Ministers and formally served as a pastor and associate pastor in the United Holy Church of America, Inc. for over 25 years. He was serving as an associate minister at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church in Washington, DC. and chairman of the Ministerial Board, when the inspiration came from God to establish a church from the ground. After much fasting and praying, the Lord spoke these words into his spirit, “Go out into the highways and hedges and compel men and women to come into the house of the Lord.” "Teach them my word, for in them they will find life". Pastor Reid yielded to the Holy Spirit and humbly submitted to the will of God.

Pastor Minnie Reid
In 1970, God ordained Doris’ path to be crossed by a handsome gentleman named James Reid. They were engaged and married a few years later.. God has blessed this union with a handsome son,, a lovely daughter-in-law, a lovely daughter, and three wonderful grand children..
Doris was raised in a God-fearing home along with her brothers. Her parents were excellent role models and required that same excellence from their children. Sundays were always spent in church. The principles taught by Bishop James Jackson, Elder Thomas Bullock and Pastor James Johnson, shaped their lives immeasurably. Doris began teaching Sunday School as a teenager and has worked in many areas of the church right up to the present time. No task was ever too small to command her time and attention. She has served the church as choir member, usher, Sunday School secretary, Sunday School superintendent, Deaconess, Christian Education Coordinator, coordinator of tutoring programs, Women’s Ministry Leader, Bible Class teacher and First Lady of Launch Deep Ministries, Inc. in Clinton, MD. Pleasing God has been her top priority since she was saved at the age of nine years old. When her husband was called to pastor, she was immediately found beside him serving in the ministry in ways she never dreamed.
Doris retired after 32 years of service as a certified Advanced Professional Math Educator in the Prince George’s County School System.. Outside of church activities, she has found time to scrapbook family celebrations, create original greeting cards, work in her flower garden, catch a fish or two and cruise to several Caribbean islands. Lately, she has become a real estate investor and always has her eye out for another property to purchase.
